The New York Faerie Festival flock will be making it annual appearance, marching in the Binghamton Memorial Day Parade on May 25th. All those faeries who want to show their spring finery can join our marchers at Walnut Street, just off Main St. by 1pm. Here are some photos of prior parades. Strutting their stuff below are Billy Bardo as our favorite Ent and Krii the Northern Blue Imp.

Jumpin' Junebugs, the Faeries Are Comin' to Town!

One of our calling cards
2013 NYFF art poster
June is busting out all over in all kinds of faerie frolic! You will find us out and about town, giving away our ever popular faerie calling cards. Many now prize these as collectibles, just like our 2013 NY Faerie Festival poster with art by the renown fantasy artist, Duncan Eagleson. Those are just $10 and suitable for framing.  If you would like to get one for your very own, contact us at info@nyfaeriefest.com.

On June 5, the fair folk will be atttending the monthly First Friday art walk in the heart of downtown Binghamton, NY.  We will be shopping for new pretties at Imagicka, our favorite gift shop, located at 75 Court St.

Here are some familiar faces from last year. On the upper left is our favorite imp, Krii, showing off bargains. Two vacationing Christmas elves stop for a tourist photo on the upper right. Below, on the left, one
of our dryads gives the crowd a sunny smile, posing for a glamour shot. And, on the lower right is our Grand Master of Ceremonies Mr. Billy Bardo, modeling our New York Faerie Festival tee shirt, featuring more artwork by Duncan Eagleson. This one is Forest Green, but it also comes in Maroon.

Finally, the Faerie Godmother and friends would love to meet and greet you on their Saturday strolls through Fireman's Field Days in Apalachin, NY on June 6 or at the Strawberry Festival in Owego, NY on June 21, the first day of summer! Don't forget to bring your camera. We would love to pose for a picture with you or your family so that you can bring home a bit of that faerie magic. Of course, the grand finale is the New York Faerie Festival itself, Friday June 27, Saturday June 28 and Sunday June 29. We can hardly wait for you to come and visit us. See you all there!

It's May! It's May! Faerie Season's Right This Way!

Spring has definitely sprung and the NY Faeries are out in force this weekend. Chafing at the bit, they could hardly wait for this year's round of festivals to begin. Here they are, on their yearly pilgrimage to the 22nd Annual May Day Fairie Festival at  Spoutwood Farm in Glen Rock, PA. Kicking up their heels and sporting their glad rags, below are some candid shots of some residents of the NY Faerie Village, out for their first fling of the season.

Even Faeries Do Spring Cleaning

Our annual event permit was approved at the town board meeting last Thursday, and we are ready to go full steam on land preparations now that winter finally seems to be losing its grip...

These are pictures from last year, showing friends and family pitching in. Anyone who wants to be part of making the magic happen can get in touch with us, and watch this page for planned activities.

When Faeries Appear, Can Spring Be Far Behind?

Your Faerie Godmother, in the Faerie Realms
Nyala Farms alpacas strut their stuff in Binghamton
Spring is coming and faeries are stirring after a long winter's nap.  Faerie friends, Nyala Farms Alpacas, showed their goods and fancies at 'Cabin Fever 2013' crafts show on Friday & Saturday, March 2nd & 3rd, at the University Downtown Center, 67 Washington St, Binghamton NY. In attendance were Krii, our favorite imp, going incognito in her disguise as Marianne Bauer and Christmas elf Marie Lutins. Both are shown below in their summer plumage. Next faerie sighting, Lunacon, Rye Town Hilton, Rye NY, on March 15th to 17th. This Faerie Godmother will see you there!

Krii on Grand Tour

The New York Faerie Fest is sending our favorite imp, Krii, on grand tour this spring as an ambassador of hijinks to the mundane lands of New York State. Her Blue Eminence started the season, parading on St. Patrick's Day in Binghamton, NY last month, escorted by Treebeard Billy (see left).

Her latest appearance on April 13th was celebrated with pranks, public displays of fun in the streets of downtown Woodstock, NY and the distribution of our collectible 'playing card' flyers. Karen Ellis (in left photo above), Krii's Guardian Angel, was there and reported "A great day at Woodstock, Krii's tour drew the attention and curiosity from people of all ages. Many family portraits taken with new friends made, and MANY cards distributed. Special thanks to for a guest appearance by stilt walker Jeff Fahringer, 'Joffrey of the Cloven Hooves'." (right photo above)

Last stop on the junket will be NYC on Saturday, May 19, all afternoon on the Great Lawn in Central Park, between the Museum of Natural History & the Metropolitan Museum of Art (also between E & W 80th Streets).  Then, she will be heading down to Greenwich Village for some night life and more grown-up fun. See you there!
